Instructions
In a microwave-safe mug, thoroughly combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until there are no lumps.
Pour in the milk, peanut butter, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
If desired, gently fold in a few chocolate chips into the batter.
Transfer the mug to the microwave and cook on high for about 1 minute and 30 seconds, checking at 1 minute to avoid overflow.
Carefully take the mug out of the microwave and let it cool for about 1 minute.
Top your cake with an extra dollop of peanut butter, a drizzle of chocolate sauce, or a sprinkle of chocolate chips before serving.
